EU (RAPEX)
In Mar.2022, the EU recalled 239 products in 21 categories. The most recalled products corresponded to three categories – Motor vehicles (55) , Toys(38), and Jewellery(37) . Most of the recalled products came from China (112). And the main risks were chemical(79) and injuries(58). The chart on the right shows the breakdown per product category.
USA (CPSC)
In Mar.2022, the US recalled 21 products in 10 categories. The most recalled products corresponded to 4 categories–electrical appliances and equipment(4), hobby/sports equipment(3) motorvehicle(3) and toy(3). Most of the recalled products came from the China(10). And the main risks were burn hazard(2), poisoning hazard(2), injury hazard(2) and head injury(2).
