G Mark – Gulf Conformity Mark for Products in GCC Member States

Gulf Conformity Mark – G Mark

The Gulf Conformity Mark (G-Mark) is a conformity mark used in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. The conformity marking is compulsory for low voltage electrical equipment (LVE) and children’s toys sold in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

The scheme ensures the regulated products imported into GCC member states fulfil the GCC technical regulation and applicable health, safety and environmental requirements. Products that conform to these regulations and requirements will be granted a GSO Conformity Tracking Symbol (GCTS) by the GSO, which must be displayed on the main product and the packaging.

AQM BD can guide you on the technical regulations and requirements. We can carry out conformity assessments and issue the G-Mark for low-voltage electrical equipment in the following countries:

  • India
  • China
  • Vietnam
